Did you like your Ibiza FR TDI that you had? If so, Then go for an Ibiza FR 1.8T :)

One of my colleagues has an 04 FR 1.8T with a Seat Sport Intercooler, milltek full system, KO3S/KO4 Hybrid turbo, 4 bar regulator and KO4 mapping running 260bhp and 300lb/ft ! The thing is an absolute flying machine!

well for 10k I can get an astra VXR but it's £2200 insurance

Ibiza's interest me because there's a beautiful red one for £5800 atm =]

and insurance is £1400

money isn't toooo much of an issue but don't want to tie loads of money up in a car

260bhp sounds nice!

standard turbo is good for around 240bhp they say on seatcupra

I think I'd stick to intake, exhaust and remap though because of insurance

Probably not the best image for a bloke.....but how about a Meriva VXR, a bit slower 0-60 than the corsa but then again lower insurance group.

I've only ever seen one too so exclusive ;) (i thought it was a joke until i googled it, they actually do exist!)

The reviews seem all good

Yeah, Don't be fooled by there only being 20bhp difference between a Stock turbo'd car running a good stage 2 map and the Hybrid one. His project isn't finished yet, The next step is a set of BAM injectors, then custom mapping. Probably see around 275bhp and 320lb/ft which in a 1.8T Ibiza is pretty mental!

no ta on the meriva VXR hahaha !

corsa VXR = £2200

astra VXR = £2200

logic ?

so I'm guessing meriva VXR = £2200

I can't justify giving £2000 away if I'm honest!

considering those ibiza have 100kgs on astra VXRs that's pretty quick! EDIT - and just a thought... focus RS are 300bhp BUT near 1500kgs lol

I am really tempted by them it's just there are none nearby to test drive, only 50 miles and I'd have to ask favours for lifts to view them -_-

I'm so used to diesel kicking in with near 290lbs/ft at 1900rpm I'm not sure I'd like a petrol again

I thought that might be the case.....i wouldn't either :P

Would you prefer to stay VAG? Cause there are some random quick cars like the Mazda 6 MPS (i know i have odd taste in automobiles)

Aren't the 3's supposed to be a little erratic as they're too powerful for their front wheel setup? The reason i suggested the 4 wheel drive 6

Yes, but then when are car reviews ever right?

The 6 MPS is **** slow.
