hartge
Hi all,I have a set of FK coilovers on my Mk1, but I want the rear to go lower as its just the springs. Anyway to do this without buying another coilover kit?Cheers
carter
remove the ajustment rings from the rear spring seats, thats should give you a couple more centimeters, or if your brave, just remove the spring seats completely.

one litre wonder ;)
for the love of god do NOT cut the spring! the heat in cutting it can messing the spring ratings at an unknown measure and then due to that you could end up with a lopsided car. remember kids, grinders are bad m'kay! si_leeds
dont cut your springs, its a really dangerous and theyput millions of pounds into the RnD or suspenssion for good reasons, when you cut them they turn really weak and can snap at any time, trust me, i did it on my corsa before i read about it and nearly died!
