pro3mark
Not the first thread.ClocksKeysECULoomThat would be a starting point, you'd want to look at breaking etc too, remember.

pro3mark
Some people say you need them, i don't think they always need to be used, i've seen and heard of people that haven't changed them and it's been fine. I also see no reason why it would be different, unless they are in some way coded.
dubsy
are clocks a must mate if so why im new to all this so sorry or soundin dumbi have a set of lupo sport clocks for sale if you need them?
Gibbeth!
Pretty sure the immobiliser is built into the clocks, and thats why you need the clocks and key from the engine thats going in. (to make the conversion easier anyway)
BaileyVW
i have everything you would need for a sport conversion for sale... will have rear axle and brake setup also hopefully
heartagram
You can get the ECU decoded so you don't need the original keys. The shafts are different thinkness but you can still use the 1.0L ones. The exhaust is different to but you can use any 1.4 exhaust.
BaileyVW
only thing i dont have is the exhaust, youd have to get that from somewhere else or get a custom made one, pretty sure the sport wheel wells are shallower so you would either need to cut through yours or get the exhaust custom built around this... ( you'd have to clarify this with someone more experienced lol )i do have a lupo sport rear bumper which has a small cut near the centre exit ( which could be sorted do have pics somewhere of it ) but as kam said any 1.4 exhaust would do the trick does not need to be a centre exit. nfbr
If you can buy a car with that engine already in, theres absolutely no point in doing an engine conversion! It'll cost you a lot more than just trading up...
