well im running my car as a daily/track day car all my engines been done and got 0-60 down to 5or6 seconds so now im just trying to get it stopping and cornering better its poly bushed all round ap coilovers lowered not slammed im just moving on to some alloy brakes (brembo, tarox etc) but roll bars was my next priority and ive been told to concentrate on the rears as the eibach front one makes it too stiff?

just wanted to find out if anyone had compared them both really as theres a 3mm difference was seeing if one was substationally better than the other really cheers

Im in desperate need of a 1.4 sport gearbox rebuilt or not it doesnt matter my engine code used to be AUB its now ARC (hence gearbox failure lmao) Anyone got one let me know 07787174379

basically i want both drive shafts off a sport both headlights both indicators both complete bumpers will accept any colour bumpers and the lights and shafts have to be near mint condition

it doesnt stick tho it wanders up and down after cornering and acceleration then settles on straights

Basically before i swapped my engines my fuel gauge would sit in one place after cornering instead of floating up and down when the fuel moved in the tank, After swapping my engines and having the battery off it has seemed to lose this setting or memory and after hard cornering it will float from just over a quarter to nearly empty? does anyone have any ideas of what it could be or how to rectify this? I'm currently stuck with out a speedo as of yesterday because i swapped my engine but the loom i had on it had a square type (wire clip) plug for the speedo drive but yet the one on my box has a rounder fully plastic speedo drive? can anyone help with the part numbers of both or even the square one? or message me a chassis number of one that i can order it from? (dunno how people will feel about this) cheers Sam

i bought a green written off sport for parts it was a t reg and had black leather seats as factory but they were different to GTI being that they weren't very deep and had no bucket-esque style they were identical to the original tim and tom in shape yet they were black leather with a perforated centre section

i've got a used raceland manifold its all straight no cracks or unnessary bends its had the pipe slightly tweaked a little to clear my sump also has the EGR take off plate welded up and the hot air feed taken off of it too any interest i will get some pictures up on here with in the next two days but i think everyone knows what it is £100
