nayr
I fitted an Alpine IDA X-305 today in my lupo and my previous headunit a Kenwood KDC W707 used to dim when i turned the headlights on.My new H/U isnt doing this but i have swapped all the cables over like for like (i think).Ive been through all the options in the menu including the dimmer mode that isnt doing anything .Any ideas people? I noticed there was a blue cable tied in with the aerial cable that was a push type crimp connection, is that anything to do with it? I just connected that to the blue cable on my wiring harness.Cheers.
nfbr
I think the illumination cable will be the orange one on your alpine. Can't remember which pin it is on the Lupo's ISO block though.
