Nicki
I've found a rather tasty set of wheels, only problem is that they are 7x15 et 13 so would stick out about another inch...What do you guys reckon? Is it `do-able`?
tshirt2k
not sure. think it will stick out too much. And depends if it lowered. would look like a mini thats got no arches. The back would prob look ok but not the front.
Nicki
Its not lowered... yet... was my plan to lower it `30-40mm` next year though...
chris260
I not so sure it would look good either, 13's or 14's look ok sticking out a bit IMO but i've not seen 15's on a lupo that stick out. I'm pretty sure you'd run into problems too if you wanted to lower it, i think you'd definately have to use coilovers
Nicki
Yeah, the plan is to get fully adjustable coilovers...

tshirt2k
get some 30mm wheel spacers behind bathurst. You can then see how much they stick out. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
Nicki
Cunning plan!If only Tris had his cabby at the moment - he's got 7x15s that are about et 15 I think...
willh
Yeah agree with tshirt2k - you can pick up packs of shady spacers from Halfrauds for not much.Is it a Gti or not? Gti's have slightly wider arches by `5-10mm` i think, meaning wider wheels might be ok.`30-40mm` isn't a massive drop on a Loop, and if the correct tyres are used (195/45's or even thinner for that streeetched look!) you may be ok.My Sport comes with 185/55/14's (standard - Kylami) and I've dropped it substantially, and they only scrub occasionally. IMO you may struggle when dropped on a `non-Gti`, but a Gti may be able to squeeze them in even when lower. The only way to know for sure is to test with other wheel and spacer combos.Obviously tho if you're prepared to spend a bit on arch work then nearly any size is possible! Nicki
Yeah, I've got a GTi.It'll stick out another 36mm which is a bit too much I'm guessing & the centreline being different could make for some "interesting" handling...Ah well, was only an idea...
