  2. Look v nice! Are they only in black? I have a silver car so not sure how it would look with black plates.... S
  3. Cheers mate - any pics? S
  4. Can I buy some nice sill plates for my GTi from anywhere? Had quick look but dont want some cheap crappy looking ones! S
  5. Cheers, Im not too fussed about the alcantara trimmed panels as they were done for the audio install. Looks might nicer though style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Its do I trim the rear seats to match the front seats or sell/exchange the leather fronts for standard rears? Not sure.... S
  6. I have a 2002 6speed GTi on 64,000 miles. FVWSH etc. No aircon or leather How much for it in standard form? BUT I have modded it with the following: Alcantara trimmed roof lining, panel and front door builds and upper cards and rear 3/4 trim panel. Bently mulliner style leather seats (with Bently leather not the crappy nappa or VW vinyl!) with silver stitching on front and rear seats (rears being done at the moment). Lowered on coilovers (FK Highsport). Nokia hands free kit. Optima Yellow Top deep cycle battery. How much could I get for it in this modded state? Want to see if I should return to standard and sell the mods separately or sell as is. Cheers S
  7. Back to the drawing board! Are 8's the widest that will fit (dependant of offset of course)? S
  8. Will these fit onto a GTi without arch mods? Coilovers fitted. Cheers S
  9. Cheers style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> S
  10. Got some style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Which VAG model should I ask for when buying the required 280mm 4 stud disks? S PS: Anyone what some VR6 calipers? Or should I fit them as well??
  11. Could be, dont usualy look at the dash at the same time! I wondered if it was the peddle box or just flex in the front end. S
  12. D90's look cool. Did they use the 7's or 8's? Also, any particular width adaptors so the ET isnt messed up? The RH's are nice deep dish - yum Rocco is the man - got some v nice 13's from him, but they are too small for the Lupo style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> S Mike, do you know of any good wheel refurbers in the south? I'm in Portsmouth. S
  13. Perfect size and stance style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> So which wheels??? I do like the Classics, but need a refurb and tyres and cost over £200 for just the rims..... S
  14. Cool, think i have found some for £50 so going to give it a go! The brakes are so pooh at the moment. According to my service manual should have changed the brake fluid in April! Just a quickie, when I am breaking sometimes quite hard and go over a big bump/pot hole the brake peddle or box moves/flexes. Is this normal?? S
  15. I think 16's will look the best size - 17's seem too big. Any pics of them? S
  16. What some fresh wheels on the car - love the Bathursts but are 1" too small and sit too far from the arches and car is way lowered! Choice: RH Classics: 7.5 x 16 Porsche Design 90's: 7 & 8 x 16 Whats everyones thoughs? The Porsche will need adaptors, but never seem some on the Lupo - do they look good? Out of interest what is the max width where you dont need arch mods? And offset. Cheers S
  17. So its just a case of removing the existing carrier, bolting in the G60 etc carrier and put on new disks?? Also, what is the minimum wheel size you need to use? I assume the 15" Bathursts are fine. S
  18. I parked up the Lupo today and got out and locked the car. When I came back 1 minute later the car wasn't locked and had no electrical power - dash was blank and couldn't lock the doors or start the car. Then suddely power returned a few minutes later! It started fine and I was able to lock the doors. This was all outside my garage so not too bad, but could have been worse. Has this ever happend to other people? If so, what was the problem? S
  19. Look forward to meeting you guys. The Source event is very good style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> S
  20. Mines a 2002 GTi style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> S
