its about time i started one i think,

i brought the car as standard had it all serviced gave it wash got it nice an shiny

signed up on here had a few ideas an slowly getting to work on it

first up was to lower it

set of wheels

cambridge lights

bonnet bra

had a few problems on the way though

had all the gear box clutch and pedal box ripped out

so that set me back

got coilovers on

not aproblem

brought wheels and put the adjusters in as the arches were on the rubber

next up was cambridge lights and bonnet bra

then to get the back lower came camber

but due to one of my mates braking his leg

i need to be able to get people in the back as he cant drive obvioiusly

but once hes driving again the back will be going lower if my tyres let me

anyway a few snaps

to come:

i change my mind on this car more than my boxers (Y)

so i dont know haha

cheers for reading.

Looking good mate, really dont like the camber on the back though... also i think you need to lower profile tyres. But still looks smart :)

yea toss up on woch ones to get though

the 195 have the smaller profile but will be a little bit bulgy i think

undeicded aswell this side of crimbo im skint

i mean i olnly brought the wheels a couple of weeks back

so no chance/funds to swich the ruber yet

The profile on the tyres will be very similar. 45% of 195 is about the same as 50% of 175.

well the snow shifted my bank balance was not minus so i thaught id cotinue sortin her out

i finally got my bum into gear and got my self the spacers and extended bolts i needed

or did i....

so tonight i spent 3 hours messing about with spacers & nuts.

halfords gave me longer nuts than i needed wich then starting pulling my hand brake on :angry2:

and then my drivers side front brake is going to be shaved down

a couple of mil as it was catching, but not the passenger one

anyway going to go kik a fuss at halfords tomorow as theyve potential anialated drum.

cant wait to get them on as it looked pretty sweet

i was happy with the stance when i had all the wheels and spacers on it LOOKED good

it just didnt move haha

it sits lower then i was expecting it to (with my camber if that makes sense)

im not sure if it will be sufficant as a daily haha

sam;

i need a relay putting in to the drivers seat and a connector block like the passenger one

as when we powered them up direct on the conectors they obvioulsy just went one way

then switch the wires powering it they went the other

there not wired up atm i could wire the passenger one up would take like 10 mins

but ill just wire them both in one as ive got a guy working on a relay

but there in and in comfy positions so im like :D:wub:

sam and ben;

yea it sits nice from the front haha

working on the rears and the arch gap

hopefully this weekend this should be sorted

then when i know what im doing with my wheels

ill just have to raise it again.

im really happy with how its slowly coming along

wish i had more moneyz to throw at it though haha

cheers for the comments
