thehammer
Hello, While looking at a potential black lupo i was hoping to buy i felt the undersides of the car - under the doors - Where skirts would be - ( hope im making sense! ) Anyway all the paint felt really rough and bumpy/lumpy bubbling. I dismissed the chances of it being in an accident due to the fact it was on both sides of the car - could this be rust bubbling under the paintwork or the underside of the car caught on speedbumps then simply just painted over?Surely it cant be rust as it is only a 2001 51 plate car? could this be a problem in the future if it is rust? any ideas?Hammertime

Nicki
Yeah, it has an orange peel type texture. If it was rust, the bubbles would move if you applied a gentle amount of pressure to them...
