Dogwood
i've got Pagid Blue race pads on standard discs. Work from cold and don't kill discs, but pricey ie. £120+ for pads. Good though

zippy
I got EBC grooved disks with greenstuff pads style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />No problems at all, pretty good all round. But, EBC say themselves that their old drilled disks were `warp-happy` crap!Mine are grooved & dimpled. BigMon
Aaaarrrghhh!! I thought I had this sorted as I need some after Xmas. So, it's EBC green stuff pads with `non-EBC` disks then?
zippy
Remember that 4 months ago, everyone on here said "Dont eeeever get greenstuff pads"... cos some fool put them on his 200bhp+ RS Escort & shredded em.They should be good for the Lupo tho, and as far as disks go, my EBC ones are fine, good even!But... Gargoil's warped his if I remember.
RobinA3
zippy i had some EBC turbo discs or whatever they called, they were spotted and grooved and they were CRAPutter crapwaste of moneyi warped the damn things in about 5k miles poogreen stuff pads are good if you are a lazy git and hate brake dust and the offer good performance but they are quite soft so they will wear down pretty quickpagid fast road pads are meant to be good
zippy
Maybe I drive like a learner & brake really softly & early, not managed to knacker mine yet.Give it time tho! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />I'm just pointing out that surely not everyone that uses them will have thhe same problems... surely?Altho, out of 3 users here (Yerself, Gargoil, me) its `2-1` that HAVE warped them!!!! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />I aint gonna win this one, am I? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />Bet mine are goosed by monthend now! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
starbank
Well, after much consideration and price checking a few months back I chose to go with the Pagid `8-groove` discs and Pagid Fast Road Pads - cost me £86 which was cheaper than the VW standard `set-up`. After 2000 miles the new brakes have bedded in just fine and I can wholely recommend them to anyone.
