Gibbeth!
Unfortunatley not as Lupo, but a GTI all the same.Picked it up at the weekend, but only got the Autotrader pics atm:So it is:2000 Golf GTI1.8T (150 hp, ARZ engine)Full Recaro cloth interiorClicked up 65,000 miles on the way back from picking it up1 Previous ownerCompletley standard6 Disk changerUnfortunately, good old VW build quality kicked in last night, and now im getting a hestitation around 4k rpm (supposedly MAF sensor on its way) and a squeak which I've been told is the clutch on the Aircon! But for now im enjoying the comfort of the recaros and the quietness of a standard exhaust.Plans are probably a CAI and Remap, Alloys and maybe coilies, just don't want to sacrifice the comfort, but need it lower! Tigz™
Why do VW think that someone with a GTI would want fake wooden trim?My mate has a Bora, and loves it.. I could never get my head round it.Big Turbo and some coils that'd be great Cool colour!
Gibbeth!
I like to call it pipe and slippers trim!It WILL come off, I've read up on all the alternatives, but I think Ill just all black with it, and save for r32 trim if it looks poor.I really like the silver, just like on lupos, I think it really accentuates the shape. Its dull compared to fantasia, but I like it.Coilovers, ARBs and wheels will definitely be done over summer, turbo and remap depend how well the summer job goes! Mike_M
I had the full brushed alloy trim on my Golf Mk4. It came from the 25th Anni and then the door triggers that matched came from the R32 Mk4.Get some Bora air verts too!
