Unfortunatley not as Lupo, but a GTI all the same.

Picked it up at the weekend, but only got the Autotrader pics atm:

So it is:

2000 Golf GTI

1.8T (150 hp, ARZ engine)

Full Recaro cloth interior

Clicked up 65,000 miles on the way back from picking it up

1 Previous owner

Completley standard

6 Disk changer

Unfortunately, good old VW build quality kicked in last night, and now im getting a hestitation around 4k rpm (supposedly MAF sensor on its way) and a squeak which I've been told is the clutch on the Aircon!

But for now im enjoying the comfort of the recaros and the quietness of a standard exhaust.

Plans are probably a CAI and Remap, Alloys and maybe coilies, just don't want to sacrifice the comfort, but need it lower!

Why do VW think that someone with a GTI would want fake wooden trim?

My mate has a Bora, and loves it.. I could never get my head round it.

Big Turbo and some coils that'd be great ;)

Cool colour!

I like to call it pipe and slippers trim!

It WILL come off, I've read up on all the alternatives, but I think Ill just all black with it, and save for r32 trim if it looks poor.

I really like the silver, just like on lupos, I think it really accentuates the shape. Its dull compared to fantasia, but I like it.

Coilovers, ARBs and wheels will definitely be done over summer, turbo and remap depend how well the summer job goes!
