cobblers Posted August 17, 2009 Author Report Share Posted August 17, 2009 (edited) Do you have to handbrake there, it looks like it'll be quicker to just go through smoothly.Oh yeah, it would have been a lot quicker, but I was just out for a laugh really - I knew I wasn't going to win anything in a car that's not in any way built for the track, with a boot full of sub, a jack and 150 piece socket set flying about in the back, so I just went for the most smiles per mile! I was going to do a proper run at it on the last lap, but went a little bit fast in so was in danger of running wide on the exit (It would have been close anyway) so thought sod it, and yanked on the bar. I was staying well away from the apexes too, because they were all potholed onto the grass and I had a 5 hour drive home to manage in the car and no RAC cover!On hindsight, If I'd have tried I'd have come 3rd in class (second car) and got a faster time than the Clio 172..... but nevermind, I had a good time and gave a good show Edited August 17, 2009 by cobblers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Kind of thinking of selling up and getting a classic to modify in an unconventional manner.
