Suspension

Recommended Posts

Hi people,

I've got a max of £300 to spend on lowering my Lupo.

I can't afford coilovers like I wanted (unless somebody knows different)

So I'm left with a spring and damper kit or just springs.

What should I get?

At the moment it's standard 1.4 16v E with 15" alloys & 195/50 R15 tyres

I want it as low as possible without scrubbing..

Thanx in advance

Well being as I'm now as skint as a skint thing having to buy and have fitted a new clutch huh.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":huh:" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />

I was just thinking of maybe some 40mm springs and only spending no more than £100

Would this do the trick and make it look a bit more like it's not on stilts? laugh.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

40mm springs are a waste of money - however if u get only 60mm springs with no uprated shocks the ride would be pish.

Id say either get a 60mm sus kit with uprated shocks - or get some coilies. Iv got the ones Phil J was selling 300£

PhilJ = £240 inc...

40mm = not worth it.

My Arosa is -45mm AVO and it's still got 'air', but it has a decent ride with the original shocks. 60mm would be better, but you'll have to be careful.

Well that's a p!sser, I just forked out on some 60mm springs today... I'll have to save again for those coilovers, if only I was told sooner rolleyes.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
