From what ive gathered from talking to people about this idea it seems its very expensive and you would need to change alot of parts.

Maybe just settle with the 1.0 and enjoy it for what it is or buy a car with a bigger engine in the first place

why not go for a 1.48/16v or 1.6 8v from polo 6N engine is same(looks) and it will be as easy as take one out put one in.

Not that easy unfortunatly.

The wiring loom is different, so the full loom replacment takes time.

Dependant on which engine you go for, you may need to change from flyby wire to cable throttle.

I may have a 1400 16v 17k mile engine for sale later today dependant on an ebay item that ends tonight...
