Linz
I have the Scorpion Evo cat-back system. It cost around £300 from Venom Motorsport, and I paid £30 to get it fitted at my local VW specialists. Wasn't too sure on the oval to begin with but it grew on me. It makes a nice deep note when accelerating, but is not loud and intrusive when driving normally at a constant speed. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />

T5POL
Would highly recommend a Cat-back system by Bastuck from Regal. Nice build quality and fits very nice. In terms of the sound, it is quite quiet and deep at low revs, and compliments the BMC CDA at high revs nicely aswell!Although not identical to the standard exhaust, it does keep the twin pipe OE look, which is what you want. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />* Pic is of Kev_ush's GTi Edited January 6, 2007 by T5POL
Petrified
I had a whole 2" exhaust system, decated and they also fitted my manifold for just over £300 at longlife border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />
drummachine
Thanks guys, theres some nice systems around. I think its a case of finding the right one for the right price. I am more of a fan of engine sound as apposed to Exhaust sound so whichever exhaust system i go for im looking for one that stays relatively quiet when driving normally but sounds nice under acceleration. I dont want to take too much away from the engine as i think the GTI engine sounds nice as it is. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
