Picola
Which circuit is the warning light buzzer connected to?All lights work, just not the buzzer when I open the door with the lights on.Anyone with a quick answer?
lupogtiboy
how have you got ur radio wired up? i say this because if you have the red power wire connected on the radio loom to the red on the radio, and the yellows connected together, the lights on buzzer won't work, but if you connect yellow to red and red to yellow, it will! chrisbwy
Think it doesn't sound until you take the keys out of the ignition.Chris
Max69vk
As above, it wont kick in till the keys are out of the ignition.
Picola
Lol, Im not that much of a doofus, I know it doesnt sound until the keys are out. Its just stopped buzzing all together, and I dont want a flat battery to wake up to.All other lights work, so either it has a seperate fuse or a connection has come loose, or the buzzer has lost its buzz.Either way Im getting it serviced 5 months ahead of schedule, too many things pissing me off at the mo!Thanks for the replies anyway
Picola
Sorry to bring this back from the deadRegarding the light warningWhen I took the car to VW yesterday I first got told that, to fix the audio warning I need a whole new dash and clocks. Which I was a tad shocked about. Then once the service was complete the rather camp guy told me that its not a new dash I need, but a new door lock. I think I took the right choice in just not having a buzzer. Edited February 7, 2007 by Picola
Adam
Just make sure you turn your lights off before you exit the vehicle style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
