dannywhiteley
I want some 20mm spacers for my rear wheels. Go for Hubcentric though, much better than the 'universal' type.
L119 UPO
As little as possible, the bigger the spacers the more stress on the wheel threads.
eXXXtreme arosa
As little as possible, the bigger the spacers the more stress on the wheel threads.if you use hub-centric ones you would not have this trouble. only thing is with straining the bearings in the hubs. If you go any more then 8mm then use the hubcentric type.I bought them from demontweeks and there Eibach pro spacers buy the way, not H&R's style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" /> There's lots of others you can buy just look through the vag mag's. Dubya
I've run 20mm spacers on the rear of my gti since day one of ownership - so 40mm increase in track width. I've had a number of different wheels on the car, and ran a load of different ride heights. Not had any problems at all, though the wheel bearings will age prematurely style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
