  1. Can you fit opening rear quarter windows?
  2. I love the look, but its just not low enough for the wheels. And I can see you cant go any lower cos of the underside of the car. Still if/when I get another Lupo, thats the look im going for. Except maybe on 14's. Love it mate.
  3. Yep, heres the last picture I took. Really sad to see it go. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />
  4. Sold style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
  5. And here we go, third set of wheels in a week, and IMO these look the best. Nice and simple. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />
  6. I think mine looks pretty phat here... border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />
  7. Aye, G60's. Just taken deposit on the car, its going a week on sunday, so it will be my last new look. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
  8. Audi wheels fitted, then removed. The car is sold so decided to leave it on the Tele's for now rather than risk scuffing them. G60 steels to go on on Sunday. The Audi's are for sale if anyone is interested. Come with new 195/45/15 Yoko tyres all round, FK adaptors, bolts and centre caps. Offers above £300. Look cool... border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />
  9. lol border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />
  10. The Abarth variant is expected to be pitched at the heart of the performance supermini market, with a MINI Cooper-rivalling price of around £15,500 Overpriced IMO. This should be £12 tops.
  11. Looking good so far mate. De-wiper rear, tint lights all red and get some aero wipers. They look smooooth. The car your getting your inspiration from is my all time fave loop, so you cant go far wrong. Pop outs as standard too. I like... style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

  13. pm'd you mate re: my lupo (below) @ £2k
  14. I get this a bit, probably the centre exit and lowered susp that does it to be honest. They see it as fair game, a fellow 'boy racer' (only we are not - generally)... I once had an audi a6 avant so far up my ass I could smell him, really pissing me off. I let him past naturally, but then pulled out behind him. He was obviously just a nob in a big car who thought he could eat anything smaller for breakfast (which I admit he probably could). Only after I sat behind him for about 8 miles at 100mph (he obviously didnt want to take it faster) he pulled over and let me passed...lol I knew his car was faster, he knew his car was faster, but he just didnt have the balls to blast me away so **** out and let me go past him. Queue a big smile and a nod from me... hehehe
  15. Mine is for sale shortly for only £2k including porsche wheels (see below). Its a repaired Cat C hence very low price (dont let that put you off). Done 73k, looks and drives mint. Ive had it a year and not had a single problem. Gutted to be selling, but have to. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
  16. You can have my sport with Porsche teledial wheels (see below) for £2k. Its a repaired Cat C hence price. Looks and drives mint though. Ive had it a year and had no problems what so ever. Cracking little car I need to sell as I am moving house.
  17. The socket is from Halfords actually... could explain it. Will have to find another. GSF had sold out.
  18. I went to change spark plugs in the Lupo last weekend and found that my 10mm spark plug socket will not easily fit down to get to the spark plugs. It will go down with force, but its too tight. It will just unscrew the plugs, but its really tight and as a result, will not come out again without loosening off the plug slightly and twisting the socket out. Any ideas, or confirmation of what socket I should be using...?
  19. Ive got a roll of this doing nowt if anyone wants it for a couple of quid?
  20. Ok, here is my Lupo. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> Ive put an offer in on a house that means the car may be possibly up for sale soon. Now while it looks in excellent nick, and drives and runs great, it has the Cat. C history that I only recently discovered. I need a rough idea of what people would be willing to pay for a car like this. 2001 X reg 73k miles MOT Sept 2007 Tax Feb 2008 Good points Porker tele's, adaptors and good 195/45/15 tyres Just had new 256 grooved discs and green stuff pads fitted on front Engine totally standard Rear pop out windows fitted Bad points Obviously a previous cat C write off. Apparent rear shunt that has been repaired well by the looks of things. All panels and door shuts line up. Body work is good, but small scrape over rear n/s arch where some dickhead clipped me (not that visible). No real service history apart from receipt for cam belt change on 60k miles Very small stone chip in windscreen Exhaust possibly blowing a touch Other points Lowered approx 40mm on springs Side skirts fitted Audi TT knee bars Aiwa cd head unit Alloy golfball gearknob Grey Tim Tom sport seats replaced red ones a month back in good nick Black badges - other badges removed New 'white' headlight bulbs, chrome finish front indicator bulbs (shine orange) Stubby aerial Polo aero rear wiper New leather gearknob and handbrake gators 'Euro' style wind deflectors Brand new tinted plates Any help appreciated, as I dont know how much of a hit I will take on it and whether its worth my while even selling it.
  21. Cheers. The discs were an ass to fit (or more precisely the old ones were an ass to remove). The carrier bolts had seized solid, and the little screw that holds the disc to the hub needed drilling out it was stuck fast). Worth it in the end though, just to not judder everytime I slam on (look nice too). style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  22. Spent the weekend servicing the lupo, new oil and filters etc. Fitted new grooved discs and green stuff pads (old discs were badly warped) border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> Also fitted the skirts that ive had for a while waiting to go on. Brings the car nicely down to the ground and gives it a chunkier appearance. You can see my new tinted plates too... border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> 2 apologies. Firstly for the dirty car (didnt have time to wash it), and secondly for camera phone pics. Also, forgot about new interior details (TT bars and golfball knob on cut down gear stick) border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />
