g-man85
Just spoke to my mechanic, who's sadly got to keep my car overnight as Eurocarparts failed to give him the right parts. They firstly delivered some ATE powerdiscs, but the wrong size. Then they delivered some ATE disks the right size, but they weren't powerdiscs. Then they couldn't get the right fuel filter, took 4 items for them to check the correct one.I never had problems with my mk2 golf, but seems their catalogue is not up to scratch with the TDI Arosa style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />
nfbr
Nobodys catalogue is correct with Lupo / Arosa TDI brake parts... theirs 3 or four threads around the forum stating this problem, In order to get brakes for Lupo TDI, You need to order brakes for Lupo 1.4 16v SPORTAs for the fuel filter, what make of filters were they using, and do you have the part numbers for the correct / incorrect filters? g-man85
Upon looking at the brakes the mechanic knew they were the wrong discs as the TDI's use mk2 GTI 16v disks and pads.I'll ask him tomorrow which parts Eurocarparts where shipping the wrong parts and find out which parts he used. NBR
Yea had lots of fun and games with them... even gave them the part number and they still got it wrong.... but they are cheaper than main dealers etc... so you get what you pay for... BridLupo
I had problems getting pads for my TDi. You need to get them for some VW Jetta (i think) VR6.
nfbr
Out of a list of 36 braking part supplyers on our system at work, Only 2 of these got the pads right, These manufacturers were - Bosch, Mintex
