nfbr
I'd say to stick to the 195's Luke. Stretched tyres don't really suit a slab faced wheel.

Jowey
6 inches = 152.4 millimetresprobably wont be a stretch does depend on where the tire seats compared to the lipthough.
VWR Lupo
yeah it wont be much of a stretch but I want to drive it hard so stretch is out of the question lol! Love roundabouts to much lol

Jowey
Love roundabouts too much lolJust aswell really living in MK n all..Place is just a constant stream of themgenuinely made this country boy dizzy driving through will only be a very very tiny stretch may even sit flush depending onrim and tires design variables.I have to admit stretch even if marginal does cause the car to walk sideways out of line but in a fun controllable mannerwhich i guess is the effects of the increased side wall rigidity.camparison of 195 and 165 on 'cobblers'(I think) website

pro3mark
Yeah, they will sit okay, think 195/40 may suit your needs better, though.
Jowey
I also loved my continental sport contacts on my G60's when I first had thempretty sure they do the same tire in 195/45/16plenty of decent tires in that sizethe 165's however are not really for driving hard on. I do rate nankangsfor the cost etc. they are very good but the improvment you get from spending a few more bucks on a bigger brand tire is well worth it unless the narrow fitment is a must. (which it isn't in this case)
