MikeMK4
Hi fellow members. I’ve joined so that I can advertise my Lupo for sale in the hope it will go to a genuine enthusiast! if you have any questions please feel free to give me a shout. 1999 VW Lupo 1.4 I recently acquired this Lupo from a family friend who decided it was time to give up driving - sadly I have no use for it and it would be a shame to see it sat there doing nothing when somebody could put it to good use. Would ideally suit a VW enthusiast or a private collection due to the low mileage but equally would make an amazing 1st car or town car. Runs and drives very well for its age and as expected from such a low mileage car, everything feels nice and tight, clutch bite feels great and gearbox engages and stays in every gear selected with no issues. * Genuine 23,000 miles from new * 2 Keys * Long MOT until April 2025 with no advisories * Father and Daughter owned from when it was 6 months old * Supplying dealer number plates, rear window sticker and keyrings. * Lots of stamped history in the book, mostly the supplying dealer then done by a local VW/Audi specialist. Unfortunately the Lupo does have a couple of imperfections as I’ve tried to show in the photos which I guess is expected considering it’s age. The most noticeable being the scuff over the O/S rear arch, this has been touched in with a pen by the previous owner and in my opinion looks worse in the photos than it actually is, if it’s something that bothers you, I’d estimate a body shop would charge around £250 to sort it. There’s a small dent in the O/S front wing and also some scuffs on the rear bumper, these can all be seen in the photos. The heater slats in the middle vents have popped out, I do have them, they’ll just need putting back on. I’ve tried to be as thorough and supply as many photos as possible of the bad bits as I wouldn’t want any potential buyer to feel mislead but should you require any extra info or photos of anything in particular then please let me know as it’s not a problem. £SOLD Any inspection welcome, test drives are also welcome with proof of insurance Edited July 2, 2024 by MikeMK4 Update
mk2
OMG! A minter! We don't see those on here too often. Almost too good to be a first car for a new driver. Bargain! That should sell quite quickly I'd imagine. i already have too many Lupos else I'd pay what you're asking without even looking at it. Nice car. I agree, it probably is too good for a first car hence posting on here in the hope it’ll find it’s way into somebody’s private collection. It’s not mint but is a very good example for one of these which hasn’t suffered the usual abuse and has a nice history. I think for the condition and mileage, the price is very reasonable, I doubt there’s many out there these days with such low mileage. Cheers, Mike.
