Wiper costs and how the f#@k fit?

Recommended Posts

Another boring question, Im gonna have to buy some new wiper blades as its got to the stage where looking through wet smeared glass makes me dizzy.

I havent seen any Bosch items at Halfrauds yet so is the stealers the only place to get them?

What will the damage be and how do you change the blades ??

Thank you

I think (although my memory uisn't great) it cost me £22 each side for mine.

Although that came with the new style arm as well.

But I remember reading the price was up to £40 each side now from the dealers.

I belive Euro Car Parts can get them now, but you'll need to call them as they wont be listed.

To fit, you just pull the wipers up, and slide off the blade.

easiest blade changes in the world!

Also, check you don't need to change the arms as well. In a blast of cretinousness VW decided to change the wiper design around 2001-2002 which meant you needed new arms to take the new wipers.
