beetlepal Posted July 17, 2018 Report Share Posted July 17, 2018 ive got a lupo sport 16v and in a bit of a dilema been driving it round for a bit but the engine has got low compression so pulled engine out got a good 30k miles replacement but it wont fit the gearbox mines the one with the starter at the back and the new engine is at the front how easy is it to change the gearlinkages and fit a hydraulic clutch to make it all fit if i buy a box to fit the new engine or would it be easier to just sell it all for spares any ideas welcome Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

weslangdon Posted July 17, 2018 Report Share Posted July 17, 2018 Check which model you have as there were 2, 1.4 16v cars, the Sport with 100bhp which has larger front discs 256 mm and rear discs, whereas the cooking model with 75 bhp has 239 mm discs at the front only.
