mines the 100bhp sport aub code the engine i brought was an aub code from a fabia i was told you couldnt do the rings on these due to the bores

ive got a lupo sport 16v and in a bit of a dilema been driving it round for a bit but the engine has got low compression so pulled engine out got a good 30k miles replacement but it wont fit the gearbox mines the one with the starter at the back and the new engine is at the front how easy is it to change the gearlinkages and fit a hydraulic clutch to make it all fit if i buy a box to fit the new engine or would it be easier to just sell it all for spares any ideas welcome
