weslangdon Posted October 16, 2016 Report Share Posted October 16, 2016 I have an Auto Lupo 1.4 16v that's done a fraction over 80k miles, anyone had issues with these units, on reliability or function, I find it very jerky on take off after slowing down to a stop, unless I hold it with the handbrake. Its noisy too, thrummy if thats a word, and kickdown feels like the lag on a Renault 5 GT Turbo. mk2 Posted October 16, 2016 Report Share Posted October 16, 2016 I've yet to find a vw auto box that doesn't die at around 100k. My guess is that the thing needs a good overhaul.
