Hi guys, I'm curretly looking for a new set of wheels and am getting pretty confused buy the whole offset issue. I'm driving a lupo gti and was wondering if a set of wheels which are 7" wide with an et of 16 would fit. Am i right in thinking that the offset is too small, if thats the case would i be able to get some spacers to make the wheels fit. Cheers Steve

Yeah that rallye was rather nice!!! Was only my 2nd no rice so wasnt really sure what to expect. There seemed to be a load of cars there, but yeh there did seem to be a lot of chacs there...but i guess there is always going to be when such a large group of different people get together.

who went to no rice last night? i saw only about 3 lupo's....im not yet a lupo owner (picking mine up on saturday)

yeah i saw that, watched it with the girlfriend. Was pretty funny. Some nice classy girls they have brought over.

Hi guys, basically I'm trying to sell my fabia vrs o fund a lupo GTI, have seen the lupo i want but need to sell my car first. Which is the best place to advertise, its on pistonheads at the minute. Do people think the price auto trader charge is a fair one, and good value? Any other recomendations? Cheers

im not really after a change from a performance point of view. I like the ay the lupo looks much better than the fabia.

basically im having a bit of a mental battle with myself. I'm currently driving a skoda fabia vrs, and it is a really good car. It costs hardly anything to run and is really reliable. However i am a bit bored with it. I miss having a small car which is really good fun to drive, and the sound of a petrol engine with a few breathing mods. I think if i was to chnge then i would definately get a lupo. I have test driven a GTI and it was really nice to drive. What im after is a few opinions on the practicality of such a small car (though i dont really need a car with lots of room inside), what the true running costs of them are. I would be looking to put coilovers, a decent sound system in, exhaust system and a forced induction kit and then keep it really clean. I guess what im really wondering is should i go with my head and keep the fabia,or go with my heart and get a lupo.....you only live once after all. Oh, and i think i would only get black or the dark blue
