Must be a Polo/Lupo Gti thing! My mates Polo 6n2 Gti timing belt went at 56k, bent valves etc And its on its 3rd gearbox rebuild at 70k.

Drove one as a trade car a few weeks ago - the noise and the grip are great. Speed - well, not so great but not slow. 204bhp IIRC.

I have C9 GMG on the Golf and fancy purchasing a NI "GEZ" reg real soon My sis has S9OLO (on a Polo obv) My best mate has N33LLF (Polo GTi) and N333LLF (quad bike) for Neil F There are loads more, no point going on but they do enhance the visual aspect of a car if chosen carefully!

Nah, I have a BMW M Sport PETROL also which has "silly plates" You are obviously alien to the concept of having a car on the road you use regularly! The Golf is a DAILY - hence a 5 door is a good idea, as it had a few sets of Lauryn's wheels in the back for most of last week, it gets used and abused. Frankly I would be embarrassed to drive a manky old Polo (irrespective of how fast it is) hence why even the GT TDi is modified. Had plenty of quick cars in the past - Astra GSI Turbo, Accord Type-R etc so therefore I'l keep my DIESEL (which is considerably faster than a Lupo GTi anyway) Oh, and if I do have a problem, what you going to do?
