    Brakes

don't open the bleed nipples up, you'll let air in the system. undo the reservoir cap and push the pistons back to the stop with something similar to a g-clamp. Put paper down around the reservoir to catch any brake fluid that over flows then pump your pedal when the brakes are back together before driving and bob's your uncle fanny's your aunt your done.

  7. im pretty sure in the mot handbook (which ill check at work tomorrow) speculates that headlights should emit white light as indicators should emit yellow/amber i'll double check before even fitting yellow bulbs if you can get any your instantly going to draw attention to your car from the fuzz anyways :S and it can't really make the road any brighter could it :S

    Red Lupo

hey jack is it all back from the body shop and shiz?
  17. unfortunately what you seem to have incountered is bad experience from a crap vw dealer (i haven't had experience of that retailer but from here it sounds bad) fox's were made on a budget but most are ok quality wise (i work for vw and drive them every day) unfortunately as with all new cars you get a few in every batch which are bad eggs this sounds alot like a really bad egg which sucks maybe try taking it to a different vw garage if you need work done to it again as it sounds like they are doing repairs on the cheap and not to a high standard like most vw garages.
  18. follow steps above but not for 10secs but untill three ---'s come up

  20. eveyone will probably yell at me for this but i've always used a bit of maintenence (sp?) on a rag and gone over the black plastics a few times engine bay wise DO NOT PRESSURE WASH THE ENGINE BAY AS YOU WILL MOST LIKELY GAIN A MISSFIRE (as has happened countless numbers of times at my work by polish valeters)
  21. its easy if you have a bench press. if you think your going to struggle i'd take it to your local garage and see what kind of quotes you can get
