Sorry for my lack of knowledge Cooper Whenever I'm in traffic just appears to be alot of smoke coming out of my exhaust, my old lupo did this a bit as well but not as much as my GTi

Looked at it last night and their is no leaks that I can see. I also got it checked back in June whenever I got it and it was looked at not so long ago getting work done to it. My car has done near 96k and it was serviced at 93k back last February and the last service it had the timing belt changed. My boyfriend has told me that it is probably just the nature of the car and the way the exhaust is but I really wanted to check with fellow GTi owners to see if your cars do it as well?

Hi all, My GTi is running a bit rich, is that just the nature of the car or is their something wrong with it? I checked it last night and it literally had next to no oil in it, so it was straight away filled and its running a lot better but I thought it would be why it was running rich?

It could be a range of different things tbh, you are better taking it to get an MOT check done. I think your headlights would fail but I'm not totally sure.

I was worrying about the exact same thing about buying a GTi but honestly it is better on petrol than my 1.4, although if you do give it some juice you will see a difference but you'd expect that lol You only live the once, go for it

Car looks well! Seen it at a few shows over here, have to admit though, was never really a fan of the roof but it has started to grow on me lol Hopefully I can get mine looking nice and clean like yours, few bits to paint on mine

The Photo's are credit to my boyfriend, he's still to do a proper photo shoot of it lol I have to say I was actually looking for a Raven Blue GTi but I started to fall in love with silver, it comes up so nicely after a good wash and wax! I'm actually liking my VW Roundel, my boyfriend is trying to convince me to change my rear badge but not sure really on it yet tbh.

Well after many years waiting for my insurance to be cheap enough, I finally got my Lupo GTi and totally over the moon with it! I've had the car now for just over 1 month and I got my Xenon washers working, the horn working, new check strap fitted, new wishbone, sidelights changed, number plate light changed, new dust caps. Most needing changed for it's MOT, which actually happen to fail today but re-test is on Friday, so it should pass this time lol After I get my MOT sorted I really want to get my high level brake light sorted, front bumper painted, boot handle painted, bonnet painted and driver side door painted. At some point down the line I'm wanting to get my interior re-trimmed and looking nice and sharp but this is all going to take time lol

Ahhh right ok, I've got that wrong then, he definately said a mount of some sort, so it could be an engine mount to what you had mentioned previously there

I think he said Top mount? but I think I heard him wrong, so instead of saying top mount, I said something, as I can't remember Thanks again Scotty, it had me a bit paranoid. EDIT: Just seen your reply. He put some pressure on the engine and it did move a bit?

I just bought this car on Saturday from Newcastle but a friend of my brother happen to look in the engine bay and he told me my engine was sitting a bit low and I'll need something for it. Could someone please advise me on this, as they have me a bit worried lol
