Nice watches there - always had a soft spot them since I was a kid. I was obsessed with waterproof ones! I love my TAG Automatic to bits but everytime I look at the time, it reminds me of my ex- style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

Lot's of good stuff there guys, and as always with the motor-world, no two stories and experiences are ever the same. I'll bare all this in mind when looking at my new car but thanks again for all the help. Al style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

In that case, why are Cat-D listed cars a fair bit cheaper than 'normal' ones? Looking at cars, this pattern is regular across the board. I mean a Cat-D is about £1000 cheaper and has much better spec than a similar age/mileage 'normal' car.

style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Haven't been on regularly recently so please excuse my laziness to look but - has anyone seen the Polo terrorist advert? I was told about it today. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Ah, excellent! Cheers for that Paul - didn't even know we had a sticky on it (Sorry Nicki) style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

No such thing! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Can someone please explain to me what exactly a Cat D write-off is? From what I've gathered, it's a cosmetic write-off with structural damage. You can repair a Cat D and reinsure it for the roads with a standard MOT but if it's written off again the insurance company won't pay out it's full value at that point as it's already been paid out for before. Is this correct? Also, how does it effect insurance premiums? And has anyone had an experience with cars which had Cat D? Where they harder to sell on etc? Cheers all! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Yes, I know what you mean. Without actually taking into account of 'being there costs' it's already about £120 for one night. Still, it is my birthday. If that's an excuse. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Anyone going this weekend? Going up for the start at 3pm and getting the first train home at 9 in the morning. Should be a good one! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

This is so annoying. I'm not one of these people that watchs eBay every three minutes. I like to put my things for sale and come back every three days or so just to check and its extremely frustrating when 'bidders' don't follow the guidelines!! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":angry2:" border="0" alt="angry.gif" />

They covered this in the Metro a while back, all be it they had the photographs in the wrong order - guy walks up to bottle with sweets, fountain explodes, guy puts sweets in bottle - style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="confused.gif" />

I trying to resist the erge to go and look at one of these as I am really trying to downgrade. I'll look, then I'll work prices out, then realise I can't afford it. Stop for about 3.6 secs and work out how much it is on finance. Bad, bad, bad! Looks awesome still though style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Very nice Tim. I thought you were more interested in purely aestheics though lol

Their parking skills are 'special', almost as good as the apparent zero road regulations! Where I've been staying, I'd estimate about 85% of the cars are damaged in some way and half of those have some form of dent or stratch on every panel! It is interesting to see the variation on cars over here. Particularlly popular is the 206 (dents optional extra but maditory lol) Also some very professionally finished Euro-modded cars.

Very clean and dent free car (you´ll know what I mean if you´ve been there, or for that matter anywhere in Spain lol) Red Lupo GTI driven around the main avenue of Barcelona, driven by a blonde lady. Sorry, not worked out registration system yet! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
