Got a silver 02-plate GTI, standard (for now!) I'm from over Lepton way meself on t'other side of town. Only ever seen one red GTI in Hudds, they do look pretty shweet! You should bring it down to the next HD-VAG meet

Sat at the lights today, went to select 1st gear, didn't go in. Had this happen before, usually just back into neutral then 1st again, but not this time. Cannot engage 1st, 3rd or 5th gear, but 2nd, 4th and 6th are fine Sounds like it could be the gear selector, gonna ring local VW specialist in the morning.

Anybody watching Fifth Gear? They just did one of their Tiff comparison tests between Suzuki Swift, Twingo 133, Colt and 500 Abarth. The Abarth was the eventual winner, but they didn't like the £14,000 price tag. What did they recommend instead....the mighty Lupo GTI
