  1. Putting a 2.3 V5 would cost as much and take as much effort as putting a 2.8 / 3.2 VR6 in... therefore I doubt it'd ever get done. I'd like to see a two stroke diesel engine'd lupo
  2. I dont care about the rest of this thread, but that is mint!!
  3. I wish I had a Hawk I'm going learning to fly hawks for my birthday
  4. Mechanical fuel pumps are fine (i.e. SDI's - VW non-PD/CR engines) with veg-oil. However the stuff just isn't clean enough to work with the 'PD' engine. You'll just end up f**king your injectors up and costing yourself £700 ish per injector to replace them.
  5. nfbr

  8. yep, you have to have at least 10 "non paying bidder" reports before ebay will even consider doing something about it
  9. Renault Clio 1.4 (1992) - 18,000 miles Peugeot 306 XRDT (1996) - 31,000 miles VW Lupo 1.4 TDI (2002) - 44,000 miles Citroen Berlingo HDI (2003) - 66,000 miles Volkswagen Bora 1.9TDI (2005) - 38,000 miles I passed my test 8 years ago since then I've done 197,000 miles in the vehicles that I've driven 'Regularly'. That's an average of 24,625 miles per year!
  10. There's a dude on the A2OC turning a 1.4TDI A2 into an EV
  11. Been a while since you had a passenger ride in my car hey ben? lol But no, I don't think there's any point in argueing that Diesel is better than Petrol, or Petrol is better than diesel. It all boils down to personal preference as the way the power is delivered between Diesels and Petrols is often completely different.
  12. A valid point, however for a new driver on his way to a pass plus, whether or not he's paying full attention or not, at 100mph if something goes wrong then he quite simply won't have the experience to deal with it. You don't go to a ski slope with no experience and belt it all the way down from the top as fast as you can do you ? You don't go to a downhill track on a mountainbike shortly after 'removing your stabilisers' and cain it all the way down in the fastest gear...
  13. Not in my first year of driving with no experience on my way to doing my pass plus...
  14. This bits the best: Posts: 16307 Active Posts: 14372 (5.95 per day) doesn't that mean almost 2,000 of my posts have been deleted?

  16. Pass plus? lol, Won't be long before you're banned doing that on your first year of driving
  17. Car + 2 Adults + 2 full suitcases + Car audio equipment + Full leather interior. 1700 ish as a rough guess.
  18. That's abysmal for a 1.4TDI arosa... My bora: 192bhp, 367lb/ft of Torque and 1730kg in weight £69.00 to fill the tank, 681 miles of quite spirited driving around Ireland! When I had my lupo TDI I managed 585 miles on a full tank too!
  19. how many years older than me are you? lol. And how much less crime is there in your area? lol those are two of the main factors! Not to mention £10,000 worth of declared modifications!
  20. Just paid £850 for my car insurance, £85 on Snowboarding lessons, been on holiday and spent around £500 ish on a weeks holiday with the Mrs... all in the same week!
