This might seem really stupid but how do you set the clock on lupo? I have no handbook and can only see one button on the dash and all that does is reset the trip

Correct, the beetles are "cyber" green, the Lupos are Fantasia. Similar but the Beetles are metallic and the Lupos are solid.

Yes all Arosas had PAS, Lupos didnt!

Your dealer sounds a right idiot! Did you speak to the tea boy? They are identical on all the cars yeah, there are however dark and ligth grey versions. I told my VW dealer they were for an an arosa and he was more than helpful, he said they deal a lot with SEAT/Skoda/Audi dealers locally because there are a huge amount of common parts and it saves the wait imprting them if another VAG group dealer has the part in stock Common sense really but your dealer has none of that!

For 10k I would definitely buy a suzuki swift 1.5 GLX. (9k inc air con/alloys/fogs) Much better car all round than the fox and doesn't depreciate anywhere near as bad neither.

The funniest things i see are random old Corsa/Clios and Puntos, They can usually be found with the following stickers "Playboy bunny on board" and various pink bunnys all over the place "Sprinkled with fairydust" "powered by fairydust" "bitch on board" The interior consists of pink fluffy seat covers/steering wheel cover and had some pink bunny shaped cushions on the parcel shelf Only trouble is, the girls who drive these cars are absolute boilers, usually filthy fat chavs smoking fags! I don't think the forfour has many problems, its a mitsubishi colt underneath, nothing German about it! I think the Brabus forfour is really cool, 1.5 180bhp and i dont think i've ever seen one in the metal.

I've been looking at A2's for a while, they are overpriced for what you get (most don't even have A/C) and there arent that many about but what i have noticed is that they sell really quickly if a decent one comes up for sale! Especially the TDI sport ones with the dark sport seats, glass roof and Climate. Rarer than the Arosa TDI!

The tax is a bonus, there are very few older generation cars with £35 tax, The Arosa/Loop TDI's are one of a handful including the Fiesta 1.4 TDCI and C2 HDI and even those 2 are of a slightly more modern generation. I think they are the only 3!

It will need to be 52 reg or newer to have the dark interior. all the earlier ones are light grey and naff! Which dealer is the TDI at mate? Might go for a nosey!

Swift Sports have taken off big time in Japan, all the top end after market companies are developing bits for them. Just a matter of time before they start getting imported. Suzuki Sport make a whole load of bits themselves but are serious wonga! I think the genuine suzuki sport carbon Induction kit is £400

Your arosa looks cool as ****! Its weird how even slammed right down it still looks the same height (roof line wise) as the Golf!

The wheels are the genuine upgrade ones from new. I suppose you don't see them because most of the mk2 Arosas are "S" spec so come with alloys anyway. They are 14 inch 185/55/14. Mine should have wheel trims as standard My Lambo wheels are 18" and I got them from Prestige wheels in Birmingham. They were the first set in the country and I still haven't seen another set! Apparently there have been some problems with importing them as Lambo aren't happy and classing them as fakes! They are Italian made and have a nice shiny grey finish to them. There are some 19 inch Chinese made versions around which are plain dull silver and dont look as nice. I took the bug to VWNW at Tatton park last weekend and I couldn't believe the photos and questions I got about the wheels, lots of people were fooled!

Heres my "ride"! Well actually its my going to work and ASDA car that saves burning stupid amounts of fuel in my bug! Its a normal 1.0 with wind up windows. Previous owners added the upgrade alloys, chrome girlle and silver dash kit when new. Good thing is that its a MY2003 so has the full dark grey interior. I'm planning to lower it and maybe get some new wheels. Only mod i've done its to add the pressed plates and clay/polish it.
