  1. I think its awesome, one of the most eye-catching gtis on here. Nice to see one thats not black/silver/red.
  2. Those coupes will be a collectors item in a few years, they went out of production a little while back and the prices have been creeping up ever since. Wouldn't mind a go in one but don't think the ownership side of things is for me after the fortwo experience!!
  3. I'd be well interested in buying your car, love it love it love it!!!!!
  4. Mine had quite a few mods, it was lowered, had a K&N induction kit, baileys dump valve, and managed to cram a 12in sub in the back!! It was pretty mental, but never again!!!
  5. I owned a smart fourtwo cabrio for couple of years, the amount of problems that it suffered. And they have to be fixed/serviced by mercedes, not cheap at 97 pound an hour just for labour!!! Needless to say that car is long gone, even though I had loads of problems with it, it was great fun!!
  6. Aw I love A2s, there was a wkd red one at Ultimate Dubs with porsche split rims love it
  7. ????????????? Ooh i found a wheel, its my avatar
  8. VW engines are pretty much bomb proof so long as they are maintained correctly. I'd pay no more than 2k for that mate.
  9. Thats cool, i like the sound of 35 quid per year!!
  10. Its funny you should say that, as that was the big downfall with that car, it basically spat out most of the gearbox across the m54 one evening!! The lad has thankfully seen the light and his last few motors have been VAG, currently driving a cupra r i believe.
  11. Thats a fair point, and looking on the money side of things I suppose I could live with the light interior if I was saving a fair bit on buying a newer version just because of the interior. Can always rip it all out anyway and chuck in a different one
  12. Nissan sunny/pulsar GTiR's are rapid cars, the same lad who had the starlet i mentioned before had a pulsar with 400bhp. Me n his brother took it out, put a tenners worth of petrol in it, drove round for about 10mins and it used every last drop that we'd just put in!! You could almost watch the needle move down, down, down....! I do agree with what some people have said in this thread tho about alot of the more modern jap cars looking like micra wannabes.
  13. Look to me like 17s, the spokes go right to the very edge which gives the impression they are bigger than they are. Probably running 205/40 tyres if they are 17s.
  14. No I didn't have a drive, tbh the price combined with the interior put me off that particular arosa. The fact that its a small car with a tdi lump means its always gonna be about the drive primarily, then the economy plus the value it'll hold through the years are a (very welcome!) bonus!! But thats great information again guys, I'll be keeping 'em peeled for a post 52reg tdi from now on. I'm wierd like that, I can't stand a messy interior!!!! I don't mind waiting for the right car for me.
  15. I thought it was, used to live literally just round the corner from me. Always looked immaculate and still does, the wheels look cool in white.
