  1. I ****ing hate Volkswagen dealers around here, they don't give a **** cause I'm not there to buy a brand new Scirocco.
  2. Stickerbomb it, then rust the f!#k out of it, drive it really fast then sell it and buy an Up!. Rinse and repeat
  3. just checked you out didn't I. Liked a few pictures and that
  4. I got some Focal Access A1's in the end. I fitted them today. Tested them and tested them. There's a few lows between 50-80Hz which I gained, but other than that there's hardly any difference, especially not for £95 (incl tweeters). Taking them back tomorrow. Might get a Hello Kitty air freshener instead
  5. I just bought some Focal components and to be honest it's not worth the £95 extra. There's a few more lows around 60-90Hz but that's about it. Sending mine back tomorrow.
  6. What the funk is derp?
  7. I think I'm gonna go for some Focal components. What size do I need, and where is the place to go? Am I naive going to Halfrauds?
  8. Why do people bother hating on here. If he wants rat-look he can have it. It's a VW anyway, it's allowed
  9. Me being a producer and my dad being a weller authorised dealer back in the 80s this is my kind of lupo.
  10. Right now my car is a standard 1.4. From the side it looks cool, if not a little too high. From the back the wheels are too skinny and they sit inside the arch. My only plan is to lower it slightly and get some wider wheels with a lower(?) offset. In other words I don't want people to look at the car go '**** son, the guys balls must be scraping on the floor' rather it just be a tad fatter and lower. Thanks for the information everyone, I'll get planning and put up some pictures
  11. I'm a producer so I deal with sound quite a lot. I don't, however, know much about car speakers and I have a car with a very small boot. I don't want to take up anymore room with a sub so I'm looking for the next best thing that will fit in those GTi holes. I like the character of the standard speakers but maybe my only option is to go for pod components. So, what aftermarket door speakers does everybody have?
  12. So, it might be hard to say but do you think I'll be ok running 13x7 ET15 all around, with a 30mm drop? As a side note, how much lower are standard GTi's compared to 1.0/1.4's?
  13. AJ Joyce, what was the offset on those? Shame about that
  14. Ringrow, is the offset on front (13x7) ET1 too? The ones I'm looking at are ET15 so these would sit further in the arch than yours, am I right? Also how low do you think you are? I'm only planning a modest 30mm drop
  15. Standard 1.4 model speakers. They sound nice with the standard tweeters. I want to boost the low end in the rear.

Has anyone had any experience with 13x7 wheels with an offset approx. POS15? Or anything similar. Might be a long shot but I'm just researching fitment.
  17. Cool, just had a look (broke a plastic clip in the process) and I do have holes for the speakers. I guess the initial reason I started this is that when I drive I can't hear much bass until I turn the volume up. I don't want to take up any more room in this little car by fitting a sub. Any decent mid-low components out there?
  18. My drivers side window has a mind of it's own. It takes 30 seconds to go from bottom to top. Up, down, up, down, up
  19. What's the best way to install speakers in the rear of a standard 1.4 Lupo? The speakers in the front are good. They've got a good response, I just want to fill the car a little more. Anyone who's done this already? What models have rear speakers? And are the rear speakers different (in size/part number) to the front speakers? Arron
  20. Treblet, I know what you're saying. It is cheeky to make money from it. He should just give it out. I can see the excitement for getting it early though. I just got Lion and it's pretty damn cool
