  2. :Miniatures-Model used SOLIDO,Golf Gti mk1 1:18 {RED}.Been working on this model for the last few weeks, my favourite car GTI MK1 sprayed in green, not quite finished :- waiting for some BBS Rims to give it that old school look.

Thanks for all your answers,theVW garage did mention throttle body to be cleaned and they have to reset the car,costing £116.00 but no guarantee this would solve problem.As mentioned yesterday his going to find out from more senior mechanics.Are there any club lupo members who are VW mechanics?Many thanks again.
  4. Well i am amazed,so many gti /polo drivers have the same prolem.My Vw garage in Watford are kindly going to find out what the answer is, may check with old school mechanics.Keep you posted.
  5. Had a quick chat to someone VW garage,possible causes air-mass meter,throttle body,coolant temperature sensor which we changed which made no difference.I was then told by the garage there are two coolant sensors.The search goes on.Thanks.

  7. As mentioned had the car 9 months summer/winter no difference.My friend has a GTI - 01 plate 5 speed with no problems.Many thanks.

  9. Surely if you spent £13.700 on a new GTI one would not expect this from the father land.It must be something or fault as the car gets older maybe beyond 3-4 years.Has anyone bought GTI from NEW had this problem? Many thanks again.

LUPO GTI 02 ,22.000 miles,have had the car 9 months FVWSH,problem is every morning when engine cold the car jerks for 1-3 minutes than ok for rest of the day.I normally warm the car up before i drive,but not very practical.Someone suggested changing coolant temperature sensor £26.00 from VW which i did, but no difference.Please help.

    Regarding, Raven Blue not sure why the colour seems darker as other people have mentioned the same,i guess it must be the camera.Will have to bring car to a club meet you can judge yourself.Many thanks.

  22. WINDOW SWITCH,problem i heard someone mentioning that they were cheap as chips.Phoned VW stealers and told they were £14.00,each.Is this the right price? Many thanks.{ part no. 6x0 959 855b}
  23. Shop around some vw/audi dealerships will do it for £350.00 belt,tensioners plus waterpump.Good luck.
  24. The kit should include the tensioners about £110.00,change the water pump while your doing this £45.00 plus £20.00 refund for the old one. good luck.
  25. I am sure lots of lupo drivers have tried or thought of this including myself,believe me save up and get the real McCoy.Good luck.
