I have noticed a November 2003 GTI just come up on eBay, however, the colour is listed as Laser Blue and the seller says the paint code on the car states LC5J. I thought Lase Blue was confined to the tail end of production in mid 2005 and Raven Blue was used up until then. Any thoughts please?

It was worth a try - I only really need the drivers mat as the others are original and pristine.

Just think if you were prepared to sell your spare unused original front pair of mats to me, then you will be able to buy a couple of sets from torquepartz for what I would be prepared to pay!

Please does anyone have a pair of brand new genuine VW front mats in black with red piping which they would be prepared to part with. They need to be the later style which accept the twist cap fitting. I am prepared to pay decent money. Thanks in anticipation.

Yep sorry meant the centre caps for the alloys. Tried some replacement badges off ebay but they are approximately 1mm less in diameter and thus not a perfect fit so I ended up purchasing a complete set of VW centre's. Needless to say they have made a huge difference.

managed to clean the original mats in the end and they have come up really well. Thanks for pointing out the rears on ebay which I bought as spares. Just can't source any genuine brand new fronts so will need to wear slippers when driving lol.
