  1. Still a decent find though haha. My parents are into Madness, not so much the Specials though. Plenty folk round about our age though that like older music. Regards cars though I like cars from all ages (past mk1 golf era) but cars from late 80s and 90s were the best looking though. New cars are too big, round and heavy but they have better engines and equipment etc. For example my perfect golf would be a mk2 shell with r32 conversion (and bbs rs's).
  2. Pictures don't seem to want to work for me, have tried refreshing the page... What's your plans for it? I'm currently on the lookout for a decent lupo tdi
  3. If the squeak is coming from your heater it could be the heater blower motor. Your options are to clean or replace it. If you want to clean it you can try spraying a bit of lubricant into the fan but if that doesn't work you'll most likely need to oil the bearings. If you google heater blower motors or sumin similar i'm sure there'll be some info somewhere.
  4. Theres quite a few females on here actually. Car looks very clean and shiny, very pleasing to the eye haha. Love that "i'm dubbin it" sticker, never seen one before
  5. Aye non gti & vr6 mk3s can be picked up for next to nothing, guy at my work got a 1.6 with about 90,000 miles I think for about £400 I think for his gf. Haha that's awesome you found a pokemon card! Was it an original one or one of the gay new ones? Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur shinies are worth a fair bit these days btw (I have all 3 still woop ) I'm assuming you were born in the late 80s/early 90s? ie the prime age to be when pokemon cards were first released?
  6. Personally i'd recommend selling the corsa and buying a lupo
  7. Hi, one of the easiest ways is to use a photo sharing website like www.photobucket.com. You create an account and upload pictures to it. From there you find the photo you want to post and there should be a box near the bottom right of the screen with "Image Links" in it, see my link below for an example: http://s1303.beta.photobucket.com/user/sam_vr6/media/DSC00500_zpsc5f40a52.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1 Click on "IMG code" and it should automatically copy. Now all you have to do is paste this code into a post, this should work on virtually any forum btw. Hope this helps. Sam
  8. Straight in with the coils, good man
  9. I've always had a soft spot for escort and fiesta rs turbos, gorgeous looking cars!
  10. The 1.4 TDI is quicker and got exactly the same figures for economy as the 1.7 SDI Both 64.2mpg combined 75bhp vs 60bhp 144lbs/ft vs 84lbs/ft 0-62mph in: 12.3s vs 16.8s Top Speed: 106mph vs 97mph The SDI is cheaper to buy in the first place though!
  11. Wait I just released figures i've been working with are for tdi's. I'd imagine sdi's, 1L and 1.2L will be bit cheaper.... You're defo right though that there's plenty to be picked up for under a grand. And sounds like you've bagged yourself a good deal there, well done
  12. Wow £500 is nothing, suppose the mileage helped bring the price down a lot though. I've noticed the ones with mileages approaching 200k are pretty cheap but anything with a mileage below 100k that looks quite good is still asking for almost £3k in some cases more.
  13. That e46 photoshop isn't bad at all.
  14. Although you reduce your chances of a bad car by things such as full service history, receipts of all work, all MOTs. In my opinion there is no excuse not to have all the paperwork for a car, all you have to do is keep it together in a folder or something, how hard is that? And by paperwork I mean: Receipt for buying car (not important but why throw it away?) Original manuals etc All MOTs Full Service History Receipts for all work/parts bought etc Both cars I have owned have had all this stuff and both of them have never given me any grief. My first car was 5 and a half years old when bought and my second and current car 14 and a half.
  15. That's still a fairly decent sized area although would be immense to do it in a HUGE ass field.
  16. Personally I'd get rid of it and get another one (or another car that's not French or a kia or a hyundai or a vauxhall etc etc) but properly purge the car to try and make sure it is a good car that's been looked after before you buy it. The problem with 2nd hand cars though is that to an extent it can be a lucky dip sometimes. Also you can't rely on cosmetics, for me the most important thing is that it's mechanically perfect and the engine's been serviced, not drinking oil (usually due to being thrashed when cold) etc.
  17. Or any tray for that matter! That's not drifting though, that's sledging/skidding in the snow!
  18. Without a second thought BBS.
  19. When I passed my test I was insured on my mum's Yaris T Spirit 1.3 but my first car was a Yaris T Sport 1.5, beast of a car, very light and very quick off the mark. To drive it felt nothing like a normal Yaris, only bad point was the uncomfy seats but that's Toyota for you! Had it just under 2 years and then got the vr6 (which i'd planned on getting for a long long time)
