Still have the bmc?
-
Standard wiper arms - don't care on condition; the worse the better really. Front vw badge; again, rather poor quality
-
A 3rd 10mm bolt, but mine wasn't attatched at the bottom
-
Let the manifold get hot, then take out the bolts, that may help; just keep your hands clear
-
Mine had snapped at the bottom, so it's just 2 10mm bolts through the top; they're quite tight though.

Small update Tried some polishing! Before: And 3 days of hard work later:
-
What a read! It's come such a long way and only getting better
-
I really like this, good work man!
-
It's a big shame though. I Would of thought the person that did all the work thinks so too. As you said though skezza; it happens
-
found a photo of this back in 2009 I think we've all seen it now, such a shame as it was lovely in its glory days

40mm springs with standard struts and AP rear shocks Came off a gti Not sure of the make of springs, they are marked 'arosa ha' £40 collection from brackley northamptonshire Or I can post anywhere in the UK for £15
-
So, after storing the lupo for 2-3 months, I decided to insure it for today. And all has gone wrong already.. The ignition barrel is stuck. And I smashed the windscreen.
-
Thanks mate! Haha! I'll go black and silver, you go silver and black
-
Could be plugs, coil pack, leads.. They're what I'd start with.
-
Out of interest who is put off when it comes to a high mileage GTI? It's just mine is on 105k and I do 10k a year and I'm looking to keep it for a while; but I don't want it to be worth nothing after 2 years or so..
-
I'd get it plugged in to a diagnostics machine personally, easiest way to start
-
It might be wheel weights catching; a wheel won't knock if the bolts are tight, regardless of the type. Best thing to do is jack up whichever wheel it is and spin it & check for clearance. Ollie.
-
I've got 40mm springs, but I don't know what they are.. I also have ap rear shocks. £40 for the lot? Front struts included for an extra £20
-
Good work mate, looks lovely! The beetle is not bad either
-
My mate had some on his sport and said they were spot on, much better than the FK street.
-
Thanks mate I bought some kw v1's; second hand but I had them checked over before fitting. The handling is perfect. I'm pretty sure FK highsport are around £300ish
