Without people like Scotty on message boards they would be full of arse kissing, back patting, ego massaging bell ends, and some kids asking daft questions. Without that dosage of reality you end up with a group of deluded people with a false sense of greatness. Everyone needs someone to keep their feet on the ground. On topic, I think this thread proves, if you want a Mk3 Golf splitter, buy a Mk3 Golf, and leave it on the damn Golf.
  2. I've crashed into the back of a learner driver. I've reveresed into one of my best mates cars - Dave who had the black/orange Leon at Ed38. I don't do high speed accidents lol
  3. If you're gonna fit a shonky bodykit, at least do it properly and bodge some Veilside Supra kit on with more filler than a **** indie album.

I was racing this Veyron the other day. He pulled up alongside my GTi and he was like "yo, what's the retail on one of those?" I was like "more than you can afford pal, VOLKSWAGEN" then I blew his doors off. Hit 165 and thought, "he knows, he knows not mess with a gangsturrr in a Lupo GTi"

    Dat is well wikkid bruv.
  6. I've heard about that system before, although would you trust our government with insurance claims? Financial rewards for not making a claim in your first year should be emphasised. Since insurance is nigh on 100% profit for the company if the person does not make a claim, why not rebate some of the initial premium at the end of your 12 months of hopefully clean driving. Pas example... Little Bob buys a 1.1 Clio, worth no more than 500 quid as his first car. Little Bob lives in a bit of a rough area, and being 17 ends up paying about 1500 to insure his Clio. Little Bob is fuming. After 12 months of happy motoring and many back seat frolics Little Bob is incensed he's just pay triple the value of his car for insurance, for a clean year of driving. Surely next year he will still be paying close to 1k to insure his ever aging but loved Clio. Now, maybe even as an incentive to keep his business, whatever, the insurance company could - and should - give Little Bob some form of cashback. Say 1/3rd of the insurance he has just paid. I understand this is what NCB is for, but that still doesn't stop insurers ramping up prices each year. I completely fail to believe the insurance industry loses money.
  7. Personally I think the whole motor insurance scheme in the UK needs a rethink. 17/18 year olds are struggling to get jobs because they can't afford to insure a car (which they need to get to work), that's crazy. Then after insurance they can't afford to put petrol in a car. It's a ridiculous situation to be in, only England could manage such a monumentous cock up.
  8. I don't understand window tints. Surely if you make your car look nice you want people to see you driving haha. Window tints just make it seem like you're hiding something!
  9. very common here. I thought all traffic cars had the equipment.
  10. Put some Red Bull in the petrol tank. It gives you wings. *i've witnessed a lad actually do this at a RR day with a 1.2 Corsa and an otherwise standard car made an extra 6bhp over standard BHP figures.
  11. Use an online survey, or general public survey to show the correlation of the age of the gamer to those who cheat, and create an argument either way depending on your results. That could drag your dissertation out.
  12. Pretty much jizzed in my pants. I'm also running out of phone battery and cba putting the computer on. So this may be goodnight. It's been emotional.
  13. Have you deleted your facebook Rich? Or have you deleted me like about 20 others have recently (apparently I'm big headed, have a big ego, and most people can't stand me)? I just demolished a bag of iced gems near my bed. Was one of those mint bags with loads of just the gems at the bottom, no biscuit!
  14. depends how good this real woman is at making sandwiches. Sexist and stereotypical jokes aside. I really wouldn't mind a nice sandwich.
  15. picture the scene. You are 8-10yrs old. You don't know really know what your gentleman sausage does yet. A lady garden is an unknown and unthinkable crazy idea. You see a pixelated large chested, hot pants wearing thingy dashing about. That rocks your world. nowadays though, I'll stick with Lois, or maybe that tart out of American Dad, the blondie. Or maybe, maybe... real women... Hmmmmmm
  16. I forget you are slightly older than me. I got my original Playstation aged about 7 or 8 I guess. First game I got was Destruction Derby, and it was the ****! My best mate got a Sega Saturn. I was such a geek back in the day. Only recently have I invested in a PS3, and that's just cos I needed something to do while I was on the sick and was forced by doctors orders to lay down all day, for a month.
  17. so that's why you took so long to reply... surely, first hot computer game girl, Lara Croft or her above. I was so **** at both games. Womb Raider jokes were so funny though.
  18. Gotta be Lois out of Family Guy. MILF!
  19. Anyone got a spare bed/floor space in their hotel room? I fancy a sesh but currently going down on my own. Willing to chip in with hotel costs!

Which VR6 splitter are you going for? Bear in mind both types of splitter secure the pieces together in the middle. You'll end up with self tappers everywhere.
  21. Music when driving around town is irrelavent to me, which is why I'll rarely include dnb, dubstep and some heavier rock/indie/metal as favourite driving songs. I love this on a long drive home -

    Chicken...

... and Durham ones are pretty crap. It's the Teesside equivalent of a Kebab basically. God bless you Nicos Harris.

    Black Arosa Sport

Erm. No. Arosa - 900kgs My car - roughly 1120-1140kgs in current 'heavy' spec.
  24. black mk2 arosa sport, standard looking. why did you even bother trying to keep up? then look pissed off when you realised you couldn't?
  25. if you can afford it, crack on it is expensive but at least you're paying 2.2k to insure a nice car, and not a ropey Clio or whatever for similar money, which a lot of people your age do. enjoy your gti
