  1. Welcome john! Or maybe you could import a gti from Italy or Spain? Rich is one of the best people to talk to about what will fit and what won't.
  2. PS thanks Dan first picture showing off his lights very nicely, hes also sent me a full size passenger wing mirror
  3. now the suspension cups I was on about, im not sure if it was this thread or not As you can see the one on the left is the original I repaired you can see the square plate washer I welded in, and the new one is the one on the right.
  4. Also become old my first year was £950 no black box, I'm now 24 and paying £1000 on a 1litre Arosa, a 1.4 openair lupo and a 2.5tdi audi allroad and I work in engineering which is one of the highest insurance categories. Diamond is just a branch of Admiral.
  5. Say what you will but im with diamond for girls... trying adding a parent as a named driver, park on a driveway at night, not in a garage as this puts it up, limiting your mileage to 8000 a year, I imagine this would be plenty, ive always done 10000 a year on my insurance but only do that sort of mileage in the work van. it also depends a lot on where you live and what you do as a job,
  6. Pictures shortly just washing the arosa! Long over due
  7. What Dan? new brake hoses have arrived for the allroad that's this weekends job
  8. You do love your cleaning! and those rears look much better
  9. Never knew there was a badge, would love to see one.
  10. That's very red! it may clash with the blue
  11. What is the se front wing badge? most of the common parts are still easily available from the dealers although I ordered some new rear bump stop cups, the part that holds the actually bump stop due to one of mine rotting through, and there is a 4 week back order on those.
  12. And I had a trip to ultimate dubs last weekend, was a great show and well worth a visit.
  13. New updates! Cambridge rears lights for the openair... And GTI front and rear door cards for the openair, speaker grills all round. And a spare set of Cambridge rear lights Having a bespoke set of braided stainless steel brake hoses made up by Goodridge motorsport for the allroad as it needs a front brake overhaul
  14. Fresh updates! and I take it you approve of the old mans car.
  15. That's a lovely gear gaitor, what's the switch out of? I went for a chrome one but with auto lights too
  16. Good glad it's fixed, I remember doing it on my first arosa and now it's the first job I do on any of them. I didn't see your explanation hence my last post!
  17. I don't know where it enters the car unless it's down through a screw or cable entry as the fuse box is in the drivers footwell and the ecu is in the scuttle so the wiring loom comes up into the scuttle
  18. The scuttle under the windscreen drains down through them
  19. I'd forgotten to mention! Whip out your front arch liners, dirt builds up behind them blocking the drain holes at the bottom of them! If it's never been done it'll be impressive an 02 plate
  20. Was it parked on a slope? Mine used to leak when parked on my drive, sloping quite steeply to the rear, turned out to be the clutch cable bung in the bulkhead.
  21. It is not from the good old days! its not a proper mini!
  22. Well that's something, I thought the speed was only shown on the centre, like the good old days!
  23. Those seats don't look too bucketed, and how do you find the dial layout? I also like the spots on the front but you need two more
  24. Dan dont leave us show us the mini
  25. That's a shame, If you had said Newcastle under Lyme I could have helped, sorry
