  3. should be fine unless its mega stretched
  4. a fair few lessons and 1yr but mainly due to issues with bsm messing everything up and my first instructor making me run his errands and teaching me nothing, been doing drifting since i was 15 (now 18) so plenty of previous driving experience, passed my test 3rd time.

  7. maybe i should have put my banded steelies for sale on here haha, only want £200 for them and the fronts have tyres
  8. yes mate im from chatham, saw you a while ago at mce petrol station when you were working.
  9. ive got both my parents on it, without them it was over 4k !
  10. i have a 1.4s, im 18, live in a ****e area and am with elephant as they where cheapest at 3200 a year
  11. meisterr coilies will go lower than you will ever want to go, this is on 13's and i have 3inches of adjustment left on the front coilies !!!
  12. heres a link to his site: http://www.meisterr.com/Site/Home.html i may be able to sort a group buy with discounts too
  13. i have meisterr coilovers and the front will go lower than is physically possible (im currently on 13s with about 10mm ground clearance) and the coilies still have at least 3iches of adjustment left! and the rear is at full low but thats plenty low enough as it gives me arch issues on 13's and i have no arch gap. so in short, yes you can go plenty low enough, just buy meisterr coilies.
  14. 13x7 et -7 195/45's all round, slammed, front arches rolled but does rub under hard cornering and rear arches rolled and flared s**t loads and lots and lots of camber.
  15. cheers mate, its getting there now
  16. massive update, new wheels, headlights, grill, badge and the plastic bit under the grill. also got myself a parcel shelf. really pleased with the cleaner look of the car now, nice and fresh
  17. cant believe no one has mentioned meisterr coilovers, i have them on my lupo and they will go lower than just about any other coilover as far as i can see as i could adjust mine until the car sits on the floor, they are comfortable even at silly low ride heights, very very well made and require much less attention than the cheap **** coilovers, would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
  18. camber shims arrived yesterday and should be getting them fitted to replace the washers that are currently on the rear, will be a lot less camber so will need to abuse the arches a fair bit, also forgot to put up that i have sorted out the boot build and it just needs to be trimmed now, a nice tidy 2 10's and amp all squeezed in the boot
  19. my rear arches are rolled and flared to hell and will be abused more soon as im reducing my rear camber. pics are here http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=88674&hl=%2Bpoke+%2Band+%2Bscrape&fromsearch=1

    Reground cams

as long as the cams are designed to work with other standard parts then all you'll need is a map and you'll be fine. cooper, yours is probably running so badly due to the fact the standard map cannot deal with the cams and im sure if you had a custom remap done it would run fine and you'd notice the benefits of the cams.
  21. cheers mate, it definately has a fat rear end haha
  22. not sure mate, the tyres are 165/55 all round and at a guess id say the rears are 8j and the fronts 7j.
