names greg! been on here for a while but havent really posted much! come from away up in aberdeen, scotland! thought i should start a topic for my vw lupo gti that i bought off colinG last october! i already own a 1L lupo but absolutely love the gti's! and colins was too good to pass up, i basically contacted colin, came to a deal and now i own a truly amazing lupo, and i think alot of other people will agree aswell! since owning it from october, iv fitted a bmc cda air filter, fitted g60 disks and carriers (came with the car) ,LCR splitter fitted, gave the car a full machine polish, also fitted some little LED reg plate lights and a private reg waiting to be put on the car L6 LUP! front arches also got a good clean today! heres some pics since iv owned it!

GregGLupo replied to sharpelupo's topic in Detailing and Cleaning
I just bought a kestrel dual action polisher but i prefer rotary plus I use rotary a Polishers at my work so it made sense! and don't bother with halfords! Waste of time! -

I love my jom coilovers! Best 200 buck I ever spent! Cheap, cheerful and go very low!
-
No you don't rub down lacquer between coats,if you were wanting a shiny finish, would be easier doing 3 coats of black base coat, then 2 coats of lacquer then rub down any nibs with 2000 then polish! Wallaaa! hope that helps

I had the exact same problem due to -ve camber after I fitted em, just had to sort camber out and i left with 10mm clearance, I was running 6.5j , et 39
