This was the lupo that made really want a black lupo. Very tidy car you have. Bet you are very proud.

Thanks guys, not sure how much longer my poor lupo can take the abuse but holding up ok for now. Hoping to be at E38 in September so I need to get her resprayed quick.

Have had some time out lately to spend with my son so not much has really happened to the lupo. Just mainly booming and enjoying it. Did do some bits here and there. First off I stripped all the audio out Weighed one of the subs Had to sort the inside of the box. Fillered all the holes and smoothed as much as I could. Added about 4 layers of paint to it too to get it nice and smooth. 45s added to aid airflow. Added another 18 mm mdf to baffle and retimmed in black leatherette. Also did the roof while I was at it. Going to add lighting later My son is about the same size as the amps lol Re-organised boot area but was not happy with where carpc was so moved that behind side trim panel The boot as it looks now. Thought I would need more fans but these are keeping amps very cool. My car is filthy but went to my old testing spot and got a pic of it. Car is playing very well with driver's door wide open. Some more pieces to do for the boot area to finish it off but getting there very slowly lol

This is way louder than the mg ever was. Last meet I peaked at 151.9db and that was without anyone holding the doors to keep pressure in lol. Looking forward to your progress too mate. Get it done. One thing is for sure, parts are easier and cheaper to get than mg so big bonus

Don't think I added a pic of what the boot looks like with the new amps. As I said now running over 7000 watts rms. absolutely brutal in there at full tilt. Amps do look gorgeous I have since moved the PC down and amps up so they are firmly on the wood.

I remember sitting in this car when Ben had it. Absolutely amazing what you have done with it. Never thought it could be possible but you did it and did it well. Once you have all the little problems sorted you will basically have a new car. Don't give up

Really like this car. Mine is starting to look like a twin of this (not intentional). My modern lines won't be staying silver though and are 14s compared to your 15s. Really inspirational car you have though.

Just had my system tested at bass meet in Bristol. Managed 151.9db peak. Getting louder and louder.

Not sure really. Was getting a knocking noise when I was driving. Gone now that I have raised it up a few turns on the coillies. Couldn't get under the car to see the clearance.

Thanks guys. I love these wheels. Had to raise front up slightly, chassis notch required, as they are 14s. Will have to get a feel of where I can and can't go with the new ride height. Then again if its not scraping it ain't dubbing lol

Haven't updated this in a while. Old amps got me to 150.4 db. Those have long gone and now running 7000 watts rms to my two subwoofers. Brutal bass might just be an understatement lol. Things keep breaking. Amps are now two sundown saz 3500d's. Also wheels have been changed. I am now a Schmidt whore Just need to give the car a good clean. Big bass meet in Bristol tomorrow evening. Anyone local and wanting a demo come along to cribbs causeway.

It doesn't distort at all. The music sounds very clear and precise just very loud. I actually enjoy it but also compete in dbdrag and proper droppers competitions. I know not everyone will get it or understand it but that's cool. You are probably much younger than me so it's not an age thing at all. Always loved loud low bass and probably always will

Will get louder as subs loosen up a bit. Loving it.

I was assessing my score which were a bit low. I know the subs are being underpowered but turns out one of my rca connectors was faulty. Changed that and the difference is ridiculous. I reckon I may have shot up to at least 153 db. Got stopped on the way home the other day by a mate of mine for a demo. He had his missus with him who agreed to do a hairtrick vid A bit more sealing off of the cabin and I should see more gains and air movement.
