    Floor Mats

Are the standard floor mats still available from seat, Or is it a case of tacky after market ones?
  14. Just needs some sergeant stripes on the side now
  15. I think it lives in Somercotes just around the corner from me.
  16. Exact same problem, I think the water was coming through between the window and Wing mirror.
  17. Been here a while now and decided to start a thread because there's not enough love for the mk1's. Bought it in February last year looking like this First thing to go were the tacky wheel trims to be replaced with a quick fix, black trims. Then the badge...Blaaack! But i quickly swapped that for a badgeless grill and started debadging the back The next cheap mod were pressed plates to replace the dingy old plastic. Then i got bored and replaced the gear knob. I've since tidied the gaiter up and put a leather/blue stitch cover on the handbrake. It was now time for some serious attention so i bought... and But it took a while to get round to it. Now i need to sort getting the arches rolled so i can actually drive with those wheels
  18. My interior light has stopped working when I open the doors, i dont think its the microswitch because its on both doors and the buzzer works if the lights are left on. The only thing I can think off is the brass connector in the light looks a bit bent on the 'off' side so i was wondering if it was constantly off, it would help if someone could upload a picture of the light so i can see if anything is missing/broke. Cheers, Jack
  19. its just a replacement bulb, fastest way of getting that red colour you want, but you probably want more red lol
  20. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item589143864b pop the cover off the interior light take out the bulb and whack this is in. Takes seconds and looks ace in the dark.
  21. Ive searched for this but couldnt find anything that answered it, the mk1 seems to be different to the lupo as the bulb is not directly behind the dial. Ive had a search but i dont want to go breaking anything so i wondered if there was anyone who actually knows how to replace the bulb and most importanly where the hell it is. Cheers
  22. I replaced mine with a set of Alpines around £40, similar price in Halfords. I think they are 16.5cm and fit perfect with a spacer ring. Quality is better than standard and worth the coin.
  23. I didnt have a airbag and mines '99. I put a smaller OMP wheel in (not sure on size), it was weird at first but after a while it seems no different. Only problem i have is the horn button is dodgy and it can be difficult to read the dials.
