you can do it that way but i couldnt do it properly cause when i tried it the key i coded disabled the other key so i just payed to get it done

i got a key off ebay, its a mk4 golf one, had to be the right MHZ (434), i just took mine to a key cutting place, cost about £5, swapped chips around and took all my keys into VW to get coded.

i think they look great too, i had the ibiza cupra r alloys on my car. the only down side is cleaning the multispokes esp keeping white ones clean!
