TDI Arosa

hey my name is geoff im 20 from ireland i currently have a 2001 mark 1 white tdi arosa. the car has a full length electric rag top roof. i have done a few bits to it so far i have a smooth front bumper with a character lower chin on it, had to smooth the standard bumper because as most of you know lupo front bumpers dont fit which i found out the hard way. At the back i have a lupo rear bumper with a zender lower chin and a zender centered exzaust. the wheels are BBS 15" 3 piece RS. looking at lowering it at the moment about 40mm. Anyway just wanted to say hi and say i think the site is brilliant, talk to you soon.

yeah i was thinking about doing that, just my seat are wearing badly on the boalster, might just see about a repair jobey.......... cheers

they wouldnt have checked cv joints at a service, and sometimes there is no noise for days on ends the problem could happen overnight with the cv, its just when there is no grease left in the rubber boot covering the joint. if the noise is happening at full lock its defo cv. just check the large rubber around the cv joint just behind the wheel for any tears and feel if there is any grease inside it. just speaking from experience unfortunaly style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":angry2:" border="0" alt="angry.gif" />

Hey I'm currently seeking some new seats for the arosa would like some more boalster support, i can get my hands on a set of 16v seats which are nice but they have airbags in them just wondering has anyone any experience of fitting seats with airbags or is it possible?? cheers

class looking gti am thinking of getting one in the near future, the stance is perfect have u lowered it??

if the noise is coming when on full lock its the cv joint tjats gone had this problem before on the arosa, or the other thing it could be a bearing gone which has happened to me too from running wide wheels, hope this helps style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
