  1. I'll be making myself a clublupo sticker soon enough, CFNE is my local cruise site (cruisefest north east). I've only fitted my rear beam bushes at the moment, whacked them out with a big hammer whilst the beam was off the car. I'll be fitting the wishbone ones when I put in my new gearbox. Thanks man, I'm going as quick as I can for the CFNE annual cruise in April. Here's the list as it stands today: Needed Parts Full Exhaust Bought Parts GearboxWishbone PowerFlex Bushes Fitted Parts 2x New Toyo Front Tyres2x OMP Sports Air FiltersCoilpackLeadsPlugsPair of Cambridge LightsHeater Fan ResistorOEM Euro Spec Stubby Drivers Wing MirrorOEM Stubby AerialFront & Rear Aero Wiper BladesPair of Washer Jet NozzlesPair of Airbox Bolts and WashersPair of Airbox Bolt CoversRemove Lupo BadgeRemove Door Bump StripsWeitec Hicon GT CoiloversWhiteline Rear Anti-Roll BarPair of Front Anti-Roll Bar Drop LinksPair of Front Top Mounts & BearingsComplete Rear Beam Conversion to DiscsRear Beam PowerFlex BushesVW Emblem Coloured KeyringRear Brake Pads Wanted Parts Rota RB AlloysPrivate Registration Plate with Legally Pressed Plates + GB Euro Badge2x Corbeau Boss Black/Blue Cloth Reclining Bucket Seats with Lupo Sliding Subframes2x Sparco 3 Point Safety HarnessRemove Back SeatsSmoked Headlights, Indicators and Side RepeatersFull Respray with dings/dents fixed colour coded door handles and locks2x Door Hinges and Check Straps Quotes I wish I never heard Steve - "Your gearbox is leaking oil Gex"
  2. Getting these for my car, just saving for them, think I'm going staggered.
  3. Took a few more pics, will get the SLR out soon. Shampood and waxed. Club sticker.
  4. Yeah definitely the heater fan resistor or the switch, most likely the resistor though as they get corroded easily, you could take a look at the condition of yours, it's in the passenger footwell behind the dash closest to the door side.
  5. I've just ordered more resources, I'll get back to you all on price and what-not in a few days. I don't have Seat versions just yet but I'm working on them. Thanks!

  7. Took a few pictures today, excuse the crap quality you can blame the iPhone 3G camera for that, I'll get my SLR out when I've got my alloys and she's looking clean. 14" on rear, 13" on front.. totally forgot about needing 14" alloys to fit over the sport calipers. How she's sitting at the moment Rear Disc Conversion ARB & Coilovers Able to go down loads of threads on the front, rears have about 3 threads left, I really don't want to void my warranty on £500 coilovers.. just yet. Next up tinting film for headlights, indicators and side lights. Thanks for reading.
  8. Awesome day today, fitted the coilovers, front arb droplinks, top mounts and bearings, converted the drums to discs, coilovers, rear arb, powerflex rear beam bushes. Pics will follow shortly, car handles awesome! Now to fit my new gearbox and powerflex wishbone bushes then I have everything fitted until next month.

    Removed Bump Strips

All sorted used Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover, thanks.
  10. Went to pick up a 100bhp sport rear beam today so I can convert the drums to discs, 160 miles each way works out about 380 miles today. If anyone is wondering on how a rear beam fits INSIDE a lupo here's your answer.. Tight Squeeze! Not much space for passenger.. lucky I didn't have one.. Joke, poor bugger was squished all the way on the trip back. Found out why the heater fan would only work on setting 4 anyway.. Cracked in 3 places.. Rusty.. Today we removed the bump strips and the "Lupo" badge, still some slight glue residue but should disappear in a few days when I keep working on it. Also hopefully going to be fitting the stuff mentioned earlier in the thread tomorrow.

Ah right thanks you two, I'll give the autoglym a try first and then if not I'll give the rapid remover a whurl.

    Removed Bump Strips

    Something like this?
  13. Hello everyone. In a little bit of a pickle here, I took the bump strips off my car to find it hasn't been resprayed so that's great, however the black glue was stuck on so I've picked all of that off, but now I'm left with white glue residue which I can't seem to shift. I've tried WD40, Lighter Fluid and a cutting compound.. still won't shift. Does anyone have any ideas as I'm out of them and the car is looking terrible.
  14. +1 Respect. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPZcPfzKn_U&feature=artist Has to be one of my favourite driving tracks.
  15. Too far out the way for me, oh well. I'll have to look into local solutions. Thanks anyway.
