Wheels <3 exact same fitment as mine apart from youve got 185s MOAR LOWS!
-
Need your tracking doing bud! I just straightened mine by eye to prevent wobble/pulling for the time being
-
I'm pretty sure the dampers bottom out before the tread ends haah My APs have 17mm left at the height I am atm, but dropped right down you can bare notice a difference, whether or not its cos something in the wheel well was sitting on my wheel is another story... edit; its notched too so driveshafts and steering rack arent the culprits
-
arent slot mags only like 5J wide? NTY.
-
You'd have to be playing silly buggers for your wheel to lift!
-
mine are upside down
-
that autoglym tar remover takes it straight off
-
steffan bcw would be perfect but I'm pretty sure they only make them in 14" 8-9J though
-
TAs are more or less same as raceland FKs have good reviews on here just prone to shocks popping if you run the back really low
-
After buying cheap TAs I'd recommend saving a bit more and get something better, the ride is just unbearable when youre low I've got APs now and the difference is incredible, just depends how desperate you are to get coilovers on thats all!
-
chassis is notched so driveshafts aren't a problem at all care to expand?
-
Yeah that's what I was thinking, there isnt much more you can take off them but I thought it was worth checking on here before giving up!
-
you'll need camber shims or washers on the rear, then rolled arches and 165/50s all round to get them on EDIT: otherwise they'll just scrub loads if you're low
-
sits so nice! don't correct the nose down, haters can hate
-
Hi, Just wondering if there are any off the shelf top mounts you can buy that are smaller than the OEM ones i.e. so I can go lower without moving the coils I know you can do it on bigger cars and can usually get from 5-15mm lower changing them but I've not really heard/seen of anything for the lupo and no I'm not cutting the ones I'm running already Any knowledge is appreciated! Cheers, Max

20 or 25mm spacers instead. how did I only just notice that you were running 30mm spacers and then complaining about scrubbing....
-
washers will just make it bouncy as ****
-
camber shims? can make a world of difference in most cases
-

a few lads i know are meeting at cornmill in hudds/brighouse tomorrow at 1pm and driving down, if you go just look for alex in a red mk5 polo and say you know max theyll gladly have you onboard! -
about a month now, but wayyyyy better than my old TAs and not bad compared with standard suspension
-
I've not seen a single bad review for APs on here or any thread relating to lupos, thats why I bought some They ride well, handle well go as low as you need without feeling like you're going to bounce round corners
