    SOLD

Lovely car, u would make more on it splitting the interior tho! GLWS
  2. wait for a wet day and try take tight corners quick (small roundabouts and the like, and providing your on medium or hard setting, u will slide. build it up so u get used to it a bit tho! Due to this my rear tyres are nearly out, so it slid when i was driving with my dad in taunton the other day, not driving particuarly quickly with a parent on board, slid about a foot or 2 at the back and i had to opposite lock a bit on a small roundabout, but i may just move the bar to soft till i get new rear tyres as it slid a little too easily for my liking. Be careful with it, its all to easy to get enthusiastic and end up facing the other way!
  3. Done my best to repair the photo, heres what i got. Black Silver White Grey D. M. Red
  4. get a photo that isnt all whitewashed cos it makes it extremely hard to make anything vaguely realistic. looks like u held clingfilm over the lens.
  5. only done the two as shades of grey that close wouldnt really show up, i would suggest sticking with black as your brakes are quite small and lots of the inner wheel is visible, so the cream will either show all the dirt the whole time or just make the wheel look empty. stick with black.
  6. AP's took about 3 weeks to settle on mine, now they are absoltuely perfect, just give them time and u will love them.
  7. got another pic of it with a little more light on the wheels and preferably a side on shot? personal opinion would be keep them black, or matt them to match the stripe and black plastics.
  8. 15mm rear spacing should move them out so they look like they match the fronts: not starlites but u get the idea (before) (after) looked a hell of a lot better and the rears arent so lost in the arches.
  9. Sports dont do 130, they hit the limiter at 127 and gravity from going downhill wont increase it. unlimited i would say 135 could be possible. but it is only a little 1.4 and at speed weight doesnt mean a lot compared to aerodynamics and a lupo isnt exactly streamlined...
  10. i had the same issue, get some plumbers headshield fabric, from b&q or wherever and wedge a wad between the rubbing point, mine was vibrating at a bracket against the exhaust itself, best get the car up so u can go under and rev till u can identify exactly where it vibrates. Other fabrics will work too but wear out very quick with the heat and friction, my heatshield fabric has been in around a year now with no further issues. I first suspected it was on the heatshield above the centrebox, but infact it was the bracket at the rear of the centrebox with the orange rubber suspender. the top bracket attached to the car was just rubbing on the pipe, see if there is any clean metal on yours at that point.
  11. Your right! identical though, just found this link : http://forum.cumbriavag.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2279 would probs suit a lupo well
  12. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201148431772077/sort/locasc/usedcars/transmission/manual/maximum-age/over_10_years_old/make/mini/radius/1500/page/8/postcode/ta28as?logcode=p Love it on the a's! didnt know borbets came in such small sizes? - looks about 13"
  13. just rub metal polish into it, 2 minute job! it looks almost invisible in the black lower bumper. it would also match your wheels better
  14. justn need to polish the exhaust as shiny as the wheels! other than that looks great!
  15. Why not try selling it on an astra owners club? Its hardly a car anyone would want to swap a lupo for? - trying to be honest.
  16. Christmas pressie for me... inch long gauge and dent in the bonnet into the metal. The morror that took ages to repair and repaint intact but with a deep scratch and paint cracked away. Yay. No idea when it happenned, probs when parked in taunton Will be getting quotes for the repairs and resprays hopefully before i have to go back to uni, but i doubt it will be done by then
  17. at that angle it wouldnt look any different... its all just reflection at that angle.
  18. Try taking pics of them cleaned up, they will look a lot better, and the price is too high as they new tyres AND a refurb. look more towards 2-300 area.
  19. plan to take them to court, small claims is fairly inexpensive, but i just havent got round to it yet, go for it mate, i will in time!
  20. They didnt need to do much colourmatching cos they did the whole sides and doors and didnt blend into old paintwork, its all fresh and beautiful! they even did the mirror covers, spoiler, side skirts and side strips as well as front bumper! new screen is nicely fitted too. They cleaned the wheels for dad too. but we need to get new centrecaps for them, 4 new matching tyres, then replace interior door handles, then bring on next show season!
  21. Pics Looking great, only boot and rear bumper not resprayed, it seems everything else was repainted so no stone chips anywhere! On another note the insurance company lawyers are struggling to catch the driver as the two companies, of which one is responsible, are hanging the phone up on the lawyers and ignoring emails. sound like pathetic lawyers to me... we may have to do our own detective work.
  22. Really chuffed today! R32 came back from the bodyshop, and though the car is covered in beading, the finish looks immaculate show standard, car is like a mirror without even a ripple in the laquer, seems it was given a full respray, even the mirrors were redone! and a brand new windscreen. Will upload some pics later and give it a thorough going over with a fine toothcomb when its been dried off in the garage.
  23. i wouldmt bother with the pattern, just go full gloss black roof so it matches the window tints.
